Finished Exams

Just finished some midterms at the beginning of this week, and there is another one coming next Monday. I am having more free times to prepare a paper that is due the end of this month.

Just went to a geology field trip this past weekend. Went to a quarry to take a look at the rocks(basalt) that were formed when the Atlantic Ocean first opened up. Then went to another site to look at some very different rocks(metamorphic rocks). Metamorphic rocks formed deep within mountains under intense heat and pressures. However, the rocks were exposited to the surface today, suggesting that the site was once a mountain, and it has weathered away through the years. Very amazing!
