Siena

Sunday we did not go anywhere, so some one suggest we should play mahjong since we have enough people. However, here is Italy, there is no mahjong around, so we make one ourselves. First I find images of the mahjong tiles then print them out and glue them on cardboards, finally cut them out into same size. That night we try it out and it is not bad.

Yesterday, we went to Siena. There are a lot people there because of the Palio. The race will take place tomorrow, but the parade is yesterday. People representing different neighborhoods dressed in traditional costumes march to the center of the town(Plazza del Campo) the march around the town together. Took a lot of pictures. and here are some of them.
